CHRIS BROWN threatened to kill RIHANNA as he punched and bit his ex-girlfriend during a horror attack in February.

Grim details of the shock bust-up come after Brown was sentenced to 180 hours community service and five years probation for the assault.


The singer was also fined £3,000, ordered to attend a domestic violence programme and told not to go within 100 yards of Rihanna in an LA court yesterday.


Police reports, which have now been released, reveal Rihanna made a desperate call to her assistant in the midst of Brown's attack, which left the Umbrella star bloodied and bruised.
Officers also described a call from a "screaming woman" who was "very upset and crying".


Rihanna told the police that trouble started when she slammed her fists onto the dashboard of Brown's car after a row on the way home from a pre-Grammys bash.


An enraged Brown immediately pulled the vehicle over and tried to push Rihanna out the door
before throwing punches at her

He then drove off, continuing to hit her with his right hand as he drove with his left.


The violence stopped when a beaten Rihanna checked her injuries in the mirror, during which Brown chillingly warned her: "I'm going to beat the s*** out of you when we get home. You wait and see."


At that point, a terrified Rihanna attempted to call her assistant, which only served to flare up Brown's temper even more. Although she couldn't get through, she pretended to tell her aide to contact the police.


Brown then told the star: "You just did the stupidest thing ever. Now I'm really going to kill you."


Several more punches followed, forcing Rihanna to shield her face with her arms as she tried to exit the car, prompting him to speed up - triggering the automatic door locks.


He then grabbed her in a headlock - which almost caused Rihanna to pass out - before biting her left ear.


The horrifying assault only ended when Rihanna attempted to shatter the window with her shoe. Brown struck her several more times before storming out of the car.


It's also been revealed Brown - who pleaded guilty to the attack in June - and Rihanna had two violent altercations prior to the February bust-up.

He slammed Rihanna into a wall during a trip to Rome and, on a different occasion, smashed the windows of a car during a fiery row in Barbados.


Yesterday, the LA court judge warned him not to "harass, assault" or "threaten" Rihanna, who was not present at the sentencing.


She also warned him he faces jail if he breaks his five-year probation.


The judge said she was aware of "chatter" that the ex-lovers had secretly been in contact.


US Women's Institute chief Roslyn Muraskin said the sentence gave out a negative message to victims.


She added: "I think it is terrible. Here is a guy that beat up his girlfriend - he deserves to see some prison time."
