JIRO'S PAST..
We always see Jiro as a bubbly person who is always happy, but how many people really know about his past and what he has gone through? Jiro has always brought everyone around him happiness, but he has gone through so much suffering himself. Once he told A Chord; "Never shed a tear for the stress from work, because it's your choice!" What he said fits Jiro so much. No matter how tired Jiro is, he will always keep on going and give everything his 100%. Do you see his eyebags? That is proof! Jiro has gone through a lot, but he is always pushing himself, striving forward and not complaining. That's why we love Jiro so much.
Jiro's father was a regular manager for a building, and his mother didn't work because of old age and bad eyesight. They had Jiro when they were around 40. Maybe because of being born late, Jiro's health wasn't very good, but his mother and father loved him a lot. Later, Jiro's father had diabetes, so he went in and out of the hospital for 5 years. However, Jiro's father passed away when Jiro was 17. Before he died, he said to Jiro: "You have to take up the responsibility of this family." And from then on, Jiro was the man of the house.
It was probably since then, that in order to support the family and to return loans [When his father was still alive, he borrowed aprox. 6 million yuan from the bank to buy the house they now live in], he began to take part-time jobs everywhere, sometimes working 3 shifts a day. He worked in a bar, in a zoo, and some people even says that he worked to transport coal! At around that time, Jiro started to model part-time. Then the BMG Company saw potential in him, so they were going to sign Jiro, Jay Chou, and Jordan Chen to the 3-J Plan. But sadly, the 911 incident happened, part of the company's market was corrupted, and of course, as a new idol, Jiro was fired on the spot. But Jiro didn't give up, he signed another company, but after he found out that they weren't interested in making him into an idol, he felt completely beat.
So he joined the Army for 2 years. When he came back, he decided to be a Modeling Assistant, since he didn't have the courage to return to the stage and make his dreams come true anymore. At that time, he was pretty well known among the Taiwan Entertainment Market, everyone knew there was this guy who had a guitar on his back and followed the Modeling Stylist everywhere. Also at this time he met a lot of Commercial Producers, so later he began to act in commercials.
Then one time he met the President of the Ke Mi Company, but when they wanted to sign him to a contract, he hesitated. Because of so many failures before, he couldn't help but feel worried and afraid. Then he remembered something a person said to him before: "When you're old, you're going to say to your son, son, your dad had a dream, but he didn't have the courage to chase it ..."
When he remembered what this person said to him, Jiro found the courage to try again. Then shortly afterwards, Jiro was given the opportunity to act in ISWAK as Ah Jin, and WAHLA. Jiro got his big break!

- Jiro may appear as hyper, wild, but he is actually rather quiet offscreen[as mentioned by Fahrenheit members].
- Jiro hurt his knee in 2008, due to filming of ToGetHer. His injury is also known as Semilunar cartilage peeling, which causes difficulty to stand, dance or even sit.
However, there're still tons of activites waiting for Jiro and Fahrenheit, hence he has to take care of his leg really well and not let it worsen. If not, he has to do operation.
-Jiro LOVES STITCH XD, and Mickey too. LOL
- Jiro is afraid of cows, because he fell off from them once when he was little.
- Jiro found his ex-girlfriend hanging out with another guy on valentine's day, hence broke up with her. But he is still willing to wait for her.
- Jiro used his band mates' eyeballs as mirrors before.
- Jiro is the pose king, he can do 20 poses in 20secs, or even more....
- Jiro had poor health when he was young because his mom had him when she was old.
- Jiro was a good swimmer and participated in swimming competitions before in school.

All these are a must-watch! Some of them date back to Jiro's earlier days and some are more recent. After watcing all the clips, I'm sure you guys will get a better understanding of Jiro. He's enterred the entertainment circle for quite some time now and have finally worked his way to the top. He may be random at times, but it's actually very cute. HIS SELFLESS DEEDS
-He once gave up pursuing a girl for his good friend (hmm..."good" friend >< ).
-For his family's safety and living expenses, he worked hard at various jobs disregarding his health day and night.
-Jiro is a thrifty person who does not like to spend a lot of money on himself, but donated a lot for victims of the Sichuan earthquake crisis.
-During filming one time, there was a fan standing outside in the rain and he brought an umbrella out for her *HAO MAN!!*
-Once on a gameshow, Jiro and Arron were getting whacked because they had answered a question wrongly. Instead of running away, Jiro hugged Arron and protected him, allowing himself to be whacked instead!
-During the filming of RL, he often became Genie's shade from the sun (I want him to be my shade too ^^ )
-Jiro never fails to acknowledge his fans. No matter how tired he is, upon hearing his name he will immediately smile and wave excitedly at his fans!

So how did Jiro's parents decide on the name Dong Cheng? Well, his father chose Cheng 城meaning "city" because he wanted Jiro to be stable like a city while Dong 東 meaning "East" was chosen because he hoped Jiro would be very accomplished and successful as a person from the East.

Aside from the music and dramas, Jiro is also a very talented artist. Even though his company packs his schedule like crazy, he has a habit of doodling on whatever he could get his hands on. Although Jiro is a full-time member of Fahrenheit and doesn't get the chance to perform in public with DCW, Jiro is always showing his support for them, which is why us Jiro fans should do the same! In Hong Kong on September 26, 2008, Fahrenheit launched their first tour around Asia. To the delight of Jiro, the concept of the concert was a rock band. This allowed him to finally get the opportunity to share with his fans, the music that he truly loves. For numerous songs, Jiro got to play the electric guitar accompaniment and for his solo, he performed a rock song, finally fulfilling his rocker dream. We can see from the way he gets the crowd hyped up and the energy he puts into his performances, just how passionate Jiro is about rock music.

JIRO AND WANG MAMA
Losing his father as a teenager, Jiro and his mother became dependent on each other. In order to pay off his family's debts, he took on the responsibility of his family's burdens from a young age. Jiro was the man of the house and had to earn money to support the both of them. Jiro and Wang Mama have a very close relationship; he often mentions his mother during interviews showing just how much he loves her. Everyday when Jiro comes home from work, Wang Mama will be there waiting for him no matter how late it is. She won't sleep unless she knows that her son is home safely, which is why in front of his mum, Jiro always puts on a smile, re-assuring her that he's grown up now, that he is okay. Even when he's feeling the pressure from work or just feeling down, he never shows his mother this side of him because he doesn't want her to worry about him.
In February 2009, Jiro took his mother to the Fahrenheit Fantasy concert in Hong Kong. After paying off his family's debts, he finally had the opportunity of taking Wang Mama overseas for the first time and after the concert, they had an enjoyable day together at Hong Kong Disneyland. Jiro has mentioned that he would also like to take his mum to Thailand, to enjoy the sunshine and beaches there.
Although he has gained a lot from being in the entertainment industry, he has also lost valuable time with Wang Mama. Whenever Jiro has a break, he likes to spend it at home with Wang Mama, helping her around the house, talking, watching movies, etc. When he finds his ideal girl, Jiro hopes that it will be someone who will be filial to Wang Mama just like him and also spend time with her. I'm sure you'd all agree Wang Mama must feel very proud to have a son like Jiro biggrin.gif

Ranging from spiderman underpants to teddy bears to cosplaying, our adorkable Jiro has done it all. He also likes to collect little action figures. Whenever he goes overseas, he never forgets to bring along with him his collection of dragonballs (Dragonball Z)!
Jiro likes to cosplay as his favorite characters from comics and anime. When Fahrenheit went to Japan, Jiro visited several cosplay stores and tried on many different wigs and outfits. He even dressed up as Goku from his favorite anime, Dragonball Z.

I'm sure you've all read about Jiro's crazy warzonette fans who thrive on this thread. Recently many of the warzonettes have been reported as being terminally ill from a mysterious disease. After much research, investigators have gathered enough evidence that links directly to the exposure of Jiro's muscles and abs. Scientists that are part of the research project have concluded that when victims come across such exposure, they will immediately undergo what is known as the NOSEBLEEDING PROCESS which consists of 5 stages.
Stage 1:
Victims may experience shock and heavy sweating. Most people who are not able to turn their head away in time enters stage two.
Stage 2:
Victims will experience shortness of breath which can lead to hyperventilating.
Stage 3:
After hyperventilating, it is very possible that they will have major drooling which can last for about an hour or so depending on how much exposure they have witness.
Stage 4:
Feeling of nausea will take place and fainting may occur. Victims who are able to survive this will finally arrive at the last and final stage of the process.
Stage 5:
