I don't think bad luck or good luck. It may be just a coincidence if you unfortunately face it many times in a day, a week or a month. It's said that misfortunes never come alone, and indeed I've ever got it at times. However, I think this matter depends on our belief more than the reality. Anyway, if you really believe in such factors, I have a suggestion like that: I run across this website talking about good lucky charms. You can have a look at it to see what is suitable for you to get one because many people believe keeping one such charms can give them more good lucks, as a way to get rid of bad luck as you expected.

Acorn: During the Norman Conquest, the English carried dried acorns to protect themselves from the brutalities of the day. Considered to be an emblem of luck, prosperity, youthfulness and power, the Acorn is a good luck symbol indeed! It also represents spiritual growth.

Caduceus:Used as a good luck symbol in Egypt, India and ancient Greece, this emblem was said to ward off sickness, quarrels, and bring peace to any situation. The wings represent those on on the feet of Mercury who was the messenger of all the Greek gods. The snake symbolism speaks of the balance between good and evil.

Shamrock and Clover: Specifically, the four-leaf clover is revered in Celtic myth for its emerald green hue and its vigorous growth. Each leaf symbolizes a different lucky characteristic: 1) Fame, 2) Wealth, 3) Love, 4) Health. If you wear a lucky clover, your sweetheart will come to you, if you possess one, no evil can harm you, and if you dream of one you will live happily for the rest of your days.

Horseshoe: Another ancient emblem used to ward off the "evil eye." Common legend is that the ends must be pointing up (keeping all the good luck in). There are theories that the magic of this symbol is in its shape - that of the horned moon. Then again, most are satisfied that the shoe protects the horse - must work for people too.

Keys: Three keys worn together are said to unlock the doors of 1) wealth, 2) health, 3) love. The ancient Greeks used one key as a symbol for knowledge and life. A gold and silver key crossed is a papal emblem of authority and translates to mean the "keys to the kingdom of heaven."

Skull: Mostly understood as a symbol of warning, the skull was often used by ancient cultures to ward off any type of evil influence or illness. It's philosophically viewed as the seat of intelligence, spirit and the spark of human life. Interestingly, the skull is also the remnant of the body that is the least resistant to decay - another sign of its strength as a symbol. Many primitive cultures believed wearing skulls would insure protection and well-being.

Star: Legend claims this geometric symbol was designed by Pythagoras to represent perfection. It was also known as the Wizard's Star in the Middle Ages and was worn as an embelm on clothing to represent the mysteries of the Universe. The Lucky Star is such because in ancient times it was believed good fortunes were determined by the Stars.

Me too I have had such bad luck. I feel like since I have been close to death again I am willing to do anything and buy anything to lessen my bad luck. I have had things fall on me (lamps. blinds, & bed), stuff break one me (eggs, new cell phone, nails, new laptop, pens, pencils, purse), my personal heater just fryed next to me I was suprised I did not get any burn marks or electracuted, my $100 text book is missing, and my new broken cell phone box is missing, I think my roomate's friend stole it, and the list goes on.

I normal were jade and gold necklaces to bring good luck. Lately I haven't worn it and that is when allot of bad things started happening. I bought a blue sapphire that was suppose to help but now have to exchange it since the jeweler lied and said it was flawless but their is a big black spot in there.

Well if you want to use an expensive amount of money there are gems

I use Vedic Gem astrology, it is a little confusing at first but if you are willing to try anything than why not.

Also you can go to a metaphysical or new store and find a candle that remove jinxs

Cheapest way meditate.

This is my opinion, once you sleep more, you will have confident upon doing a task.
Bad luck doesn't happen on it's own, it's what you create.

the more you count bad luck, the more you attract it into your vibration.

Stop thinking about it, go into your memory, and change all the memories of bad luck into good luck (how it should have been). Count all the good things that happened to you and appreciate them.

THen, imagine a ray of Divine Light shining on you, erasing all bad luck, and blessing you with good luck and blessings from now on.

THen watch your luck turn around for the better in real life!

From what i know, you have to cut your hair, even a little bit of it, only some part of the end of the hair.
I do that too when i have a nightmare, to get rid of the bad luck till now...

^ I second that.
There's no such thing as 'bad luck', only that what you think, becomes true.
Maybe you attract bad things subconsciously by fearing them/ thinking of them.
And a wise quote by Tennessee Williams: 'Luck is believing you're lucky' :)

There is no such thing as good/back luck. I've mentioned in different thread that reality, and what that may be to an individual, is what he or she made of it with his/her thought, words, actions and deeds. It is all in our beliefs! This may seem far fetching but it could be explained scientifically through meta/quantum physics. Anyone who wish to be acquainted with this phenomenal please read or watch "The Secret" by Rhonda Byrne or read "The Biology of Belief" by Bruce Lipton or simply do a google on "The Law of Attraction".

Long ago people thought of the earth as flat and the Church also believed that the earth was stationary. Then came along Galileo who presented that the earth is not stationary as it spins around the sun. Galileo was then charged with heresy by the Church and his works was banned and forbidden by the Church for more than 200 years. The question now is this: are we really any different today? Have we really changed our acceptance toward things that don't fit our current understandings? "Thoughts create reality" isn't something new per se. It had been taught by Jesus and also by Buddha before him and it is something that we'd re-discovered.

Just keep on doing good things and try to be honest all the time. Good and Bad times are just the part of your life. So just think that there will be no bad time from now onwards..

I wish there was something to get rid of bad luck, but since my life has always been filled with more bad luck than good luck (been getting worse over the past year), I have learned to accept it. I don't let it get me down (:

You can't get rid of any kind of luck whether its good or bad. It just follows you. Some people have better luck than others, but I don't believe in to much about luck. Its not luck but more like faith when something happens. I'm not going to blame luck if I die tomorrow or get rich off the lottery because its meant to be. Can't stop it or avoid it. Luck or faith, whatever, same difference i guess. We just want to blame it on something to make us feel better at the end of the day.

That is a nice thought.
And for anyone on the eightfold path, I would say it were true.
However, there are more things in heaven and earth than are dreamt of in your philosophy

Bad luck and good luck for the most part are perceptions of our reality.
Our minds can edit what we remember ..
Remember only good events and we see ourselves as having good luck
Remember only bad events and we see ourselves as having bad luck
Sometimes our perceptions are true ... lol

The best thing to do to get rid of bad luck is to do as the Pilgrims did ...
They counted their blessings and were thankful for the good things.
Don't worry ... life gets better when you put more of yourself into the efforts to live:V

Maybe it helps if you stop yourself thinking of having bad luck all the time, take life as it comes and enjoy it whilst you're still around. You can control your life and avoiding this and that.

Appreciation is such a powerful emotion(thought), eh?

I totally get what you said here and, believe me, I practice it by heart whenever I can and now it's becoming a major part of my personality. How can I not believe in its benefits when I see and experience positive results time after time? This is so easy! :thumbsup

Easier said than done, lol! Only when you experience a terribly bad day in which no work or task can be done smoothly and mistakes follow mistakes, will you clearly know what bad luck is.
