Ariel Lin mostly plays silly, naive young girls in idol dramas, but she’s thrown off this image in the stage play “Man and Woman: War and Peace.” Taking on the challenge of playing a devil, an angel, a matchmaker and many other characters, she had to go through a lot of style changes during the play and had a taste of being stripped quickly to change.

“M&W” recently premiered in Hong Kong, and Ariel had the rare opportunity to show off her comic skills. She appeared on stage dancing to the tune of the Korean pop group Wonder Girls’ “Nobody” and Super Junior’s “Sorry, Sorry.”

Ariel remembered the steps and was very uninhibited, however, “dancing on heels was really painful,” she said. “You have to stay balanced, and yet still look classy and elegant. After doing six performances, I’ve 24 bruises on my feet.”

Because of the different characters she had to play, Ariel had to undergo eight style changes. Sometimes she had little time to change in between scenes, so she had to quickly change on the side of the stage. “Our costume fitter would rush to help me remove my clothes, take off my pants. It was quite embarrassing.”

At the premiere, Ariel’s mom was even more nervous that she was and kept saying: “It’s like when I accompanied you to your joint college entrance examinations.” Ariel said: “Comparing TV drama series and stage plays, the latter is more exciting. Although the pay isn’t much, I’ve learned a lot, and it’s worth it.”

hmmm .. even as an established celebrity, Ariel is pretty conservative but that's good. She seems to command a lot of respects from the general public even from the media. As always, she projects a good role model consistently. The media has no case to blemish her even if they wish to. Nice.

PS : I also notice Da S doesn't quite show a lot of her flesh but still she is hell in hot demand. I guess this is all about how you set your own rules and conditions.
