I think Alien sounds a bit harsh and rude if he truly said that Rainie and Show's acting was fake and doesn't deserve to be nominated in golden bells. The two of them put so much effort into HMS and he's saying they did a bad job. Hope the media are changing his words or else i think that's really mean to say, considering he calls them both his good friends.

I'm not convinced these were the correct sentiments of what Xiao Gui said. Obviously... he has to work with Show on a regular basis so why would be say a bunch of crap like this? First of all, if it was my event for promoting my album, I'd be pissed if people only wanted to talk about my best friend and ex-girlfriend's new budding friendship. I mean, say a few words... okay. But the whole time? The media needs to back off.

It's not like they haven't talked about Hi My Sweetheart on 100% Entertainment before... Xiao Gui gets teased mercilessly by everyone but it's all in good fun! I always thought Show and Rainie would be a hot combination (onscreen and offscreen) so I'm happy that their drama is getting a lot of hype but please... not at Xiao Gui's expense! That is totally uncalled for.

I think Xiao Gui knows better than to say this crap... I'm sure it's out of context. Let's wait for the next article covering his event!

P.S. Their kiss in the rain in ep5 didn't look fake to me! It was hot and it was awesome!

Xiao Gui is a funny type of person so maybe he was joking about it but the media made it sound rude and harsh. And I agree, with the person above me. I think it's really mean and stupid of the reporters to gang up on him on his album promotion when they should be asking him about his work and music instead of someone else's problems.

I don't think xiao gui would say such harsh words. Really not like him to do so, honestly, I think he's over Rainie, but it is kind of weird for your best friend to go out with your ex girlfriend. Just a bit awkward, but I'm not saying it shouldn't happen. Just it would take time to get adjusted to. But this hype of them going out I think is just marketing for the drama, everyone new drama always have these kind of rumors, sometimes it just gets too old.

And I do feel bad for xiao gui, its his press conference, why all the fuss about the other two. The media is being so disrespectful to him, which I think is very unfair.

This is just... It's putting both Cheng Lin and Xiao Gui in a bad light. Xiao Gui's words are just being used out of context and it's making him look bitter. Cheng Lin is coming off as some female player.

The media should stop dragging Xiao Gui into this, Show and Rainie are not even dating, they're making too big a deal out of these two friends.

Haha, the thing is....Xiao Gui said (and this was in a video, so there's proof unlike this news report) that he really admired the acting in HMS and thought it was really good and seemed very realistic.

Comeon!!! HMS is the best drama of 2009, I don't like AC as much as HMS, and they really did a good job, they have a lot of chemistry and the kiss is so awesome!!! It's not fake to me, I really think they got into it, that's the best kiss Rainie ever did onscreen a lot better than mike he (in my opinion) I really think they will get a lot of awards, ofcourse Best Couple Rainie and Show:))

He faced so many of these questions: one is his ex-gf and the other his best friend, both important people to him ... this article seems like another HSM promotion or something; or are we actually hearing about Xiao Gui promote his work? It sucks that they kept asking him these questions ... and I don't believe for a second that he would say a bad thing about Rainie at all. If he were to, he would have done so years ago why wait until now? He's not that type of guy to bad mouth others especially his good friends so the media should just stop these promotional tactics and focus on some legit reporting or something ...
