Today the announcement that KAT-TUN had been chosen for the New Year's "Decotomo★DX" CM (mobile greeting interchange) appeared and brought a surprise with it"

KAT-TUN's New Song 「THE D-MOTION」

The information also comments about gorgeous set, glittering clothes (including a surprise) and comedic acting. Broadcast will start December 25. CM already up for download in Japan in two versions.

[spoiler]Although it's a new song, i still think it won't be their next titular single, as i don't think the song is rockish/ KAT TUNish enough to be their next single.
I still am expecting them to sing for Kame's new drama to be aired Jan next year. They always do, so I am anticipating that to be their next single,
This song can be a B-side though.[/spoiler]

I agree, I don't think this new song will be their next official single...most likely their next will be the themesong for Kame-chan's new drama next year...I think this is probably a exclusive song just for the cm, or it's a limited edition song like 'White X'mas' was?

Either way, I really like this new song! It's very catchy & upbeat! Like all their other upbeat songs, it really gives me the urge to get up & dance! Can't wait to hear the whole song!
I think it COULD be their next official single...although it's not exactly a rock song...but KT do sing a broader range of music, from rock to pop to ballads & RnB...many of their singles were pop songs, some were rock songs & 2 are slow ballads...so there is still a possibility that 'The D-Motion' will be slated as their next single.
I'll be happy either way because I'm starting to love this new song already!

agree it may not be their next single but still excited to hear a new song from KT.
it still sounds like something NEWS or ARASHI would sing though, not too rockish ala KAT TUN style.
and hell yeah! i was hoping for a new song for Kame's drama. i wish they'll be releasing that as a single early next year.

and lol at the CM, Nakamaru is so funny with the poker face and red cheeks.

agree that KT sings a broad range of music, but i think they just can't release singles randomly.
i believe they have been building up on the "rockish" image for KAT TUN ever since Akanishi came back considering how all of their songs released thereafter have rock taste to it, except White Xmas.
releasing a bubbly song could just you know, make them stray away from that image.
besides i am hoping for a theme song for Kame's drama.
but either way, i am really glad to hear a new song from them. it's been a while.

^mmm that's true...in the beginning, their image was similar to much of the other JE groups; the "sunshine flower boy" image with bubbly songs...but over the past few years, we've seen KT slowly move away from that image & have established a more mature "rockish" image & style for themselves...but in spite of their shift in image & style, their music range has become more diverse because they still sing some of their old styles of music...only that they've added some new styles to their music.

I don't know...I think it is still quite possible for this new song to be their next single...but I will have to agree with you that in doing so, it probably would sway them a little bit away from this "rockish" image they've established...I don't really want KT to go back to their old image, I much prefer their current image & style!
But nonetheless, it's still a really good song!

Don't worry, I am sure that KT will sing the themesong for Kame's new drama, since he is the lead after all...especially if the drama is going to be a JE drama (which it is), usually the lead & his JE group sings the themesongs...so I'm certain the themesong for 'Wallflower' will be sung by KT
I mean...the only other possible JE group I can think of to sing the themesong are NewS, since there are 2 NewS members in the drama, but I highly doubt it would be them.

I love this song., but i do agree, it's not a song worth to be a single, and is better off as a b-side.
what i'm really anticipating for is the theme song to kame's new drama, since, that's just how it goes.

I have listened to the new song. I really like it! But I don't know if it will be suitable to be their next single. I love the commercial though! Yucchi! He's so cute with the blushing cheeks! The others all look very hot too!

It's not I think. Someone has already said that they will sing the theme song for Kame's new series. It's another song with a different title.
