Today it was announced that actor Matsumoto Jun (26) and actress Nagasawa Masami (22) are going to have a kiss scene in Fuji TV's upcoming 50th anniversary dorama "Wagaya no Rekishi".

The dorama is set during the turbulent middle period of the Showa era and evolves around the seven members of the cheerful Yame family. Matsumoto plays Yoshio the eldest son of the Yame family who falls in love with Yukari (Nagasawa), the child of a good family.

Due to the discrepancy between their families they strongly oppose the marriage plans of the couple, but then even a picture of one of their "prohibited kiss scenes" becomes public and matters get worse. They eventually decide to run away to save their love, but super typhoon Vera is going to thwart their plans. Vera hit Japan on September 26th, 1954 and was the strongest typhoon to hit Japan in recorded history. Looks like fate isn't a fan of their relationship either.

The special anniversary dorama will air on 3 consecutive nights starting on April 9.

this may sound stupid, or im so stupid not to know anything about this -- why look at Nino's actions? Were they linked before? .. i dont have any idea..

^there were long-time rumors that Masami and Nino are dating which was said to have started from the time they were filming the drama "Yasashii Jikan"..some tabloids said that they've been together now for 4 years..
though even up till now, there weren't any pics taken of the two together nor were there any official statements about it from both sides

It's weird, last night I just saw Keiko Kitagawa in Arashi's show. I heard rumors that she & Matsumoto were sort of a couple before. So there was this game and Keiko has to choose which one should win and she chose Nino for it.

i saw the trailer for the VS Arashi 3hr SP and Masami wasn't there (i'll be eyeing Nino's reactions too if she were to be there. too bad). Only the family of Jun in the drama would participate. so we would be seeing Horikita Maki and Eikura Nana since they are jun's sisters in the drama. weeeeeeee.


yep meoinkie2 is right! and there was a rumor before too that when asked by his friend from the industry about their relationship, Nino said their relationship is still going strong after being together for years and that he called masami that night too....i can't remember which tabloid it is....
