Despite her high profile reputation, she is willing to admit that she went because of Jerry and willing to pour out her own money to support him...bravo to her. It is also my desire to see that Jerry duly get recognise for his effort to excel against all odds of not being able to attend professional acting classes, being critised and put down by his own country press reports, being misunderstood by the people he trusted in his earlier years (MG1 & MG2) etc....Jerry, you will surely succeed, because all your Asian friends will STAND BY YOU NO MATTER WAT...............JIA YOU!!!!!!!!

According to the above article, a tv station in Tw, Min Si, spend a lot of money doing an independent survey on the ratings of 8pm timeslot as they dont believe AGB high rating of another tv station, San Li, 8pm drama serial. And it seems they discovered that TH rating is actually a lot higher than what AGB rated which is abt 2.5 points.

In this article, the reporter indicates that Dai Li Ren was provided NT$10 millions grant for filming a movie, but there is rumor that he has stopped the project. According to the reporter, the main reason was that he failed to invite Jerry as the main lead. Because Dai stopped the project, he needs to return the money and he may need to pay another million as penalty.

According to the reporter, because of TH, many drama/movie producers are fighting for Jerry. After developed brotherhood kind of relationship while filming The Hospital, Dai Li Ren also wants to invite Jerry to be the main lead of his film. However, it is not easy for Jerry to accept invitations, especially in the second half of 2006, Jerry plans to give most of his time to overseas fans. Therefore, it is difficult for them to work together again in the near future.

Dai Li Ren's response quoted in the article, "It is true that I did invite YCX, but as there is not enough funding, so we won't work together this time, but there must be opportunities in the future."

Jerry's response through his agent Jiang Yi Peng: Jerry admires Dai Li Ren very much and he was invited by Dai in conversation on numerous times. However, details of the exact time and plan/schedule have not been confirmed. If Dai Li Ren decides to film the movie in the future, Jerry will surely like to work with him if opportunity comes up.

I am looking forward to Jerry acting in a movie directed by Leon Dai, the earlier the better. Both of them understands each other very well. Jerry has already acted under a HK director (Magical Kitchen), so it will be good if his next movie is with a Tw or Mainland China director.

Episode 9 reviewed that "Your friend" was Chen Kuan, the doctor with the glasses. According him, he tried to help Dr. Su by sending him emails.

Also, Dr. Tang insisted on his decision of not relocating Liu Xin Ping's Port A. At this time, it was not about right or wrong, but because of his face more than ever (more concern abt his reputation). At the same time, other than being isolated by his colleagues, when Dr. Su tried to schedule surgeries for his patients, he was refused.

Therefore, Dr. Su had two main choices now. To apologize, to continue fighting, or to leave the case. Dr. Qiu also gave him advice, "If your apology can help your patient in a better situation, why not?" His meaning is if Dr. Su keeps fighting against Dr. Tang, Dr. Tang will never approve the 2nd operation. However, if Dr. Su apologizes, there may be a chance.

btw, this isolation of Dr Su reflects a certain period in Jerry's life when he suffered the same thing. remember during F4's concerts in HK, when Jerry voiced out his thanks to Fenny, he said there was a certain time when she was the only one who talked to him when everybody else ignored him.

Jerry wasnt referring to the media, the media didnt isolate him, they were busy bashing him. Jerry was referring to the time when Comic, his previous mgt. co., did that to him. Jerry spoke out againt Angie Chai in 2002 after MG2 & Angie Chai is the head of Comic (Dr Su spoke out against Dr Tang) . Which sort of brings to mind what was F3's stance then?

paying the price for speaking out happens everywhere, in school, university, workplace, politics, etc.
in TH, Dr Su's colleagues all avoided him, not bcos they suddenly overnite dislike him but bcos they do not want trouble to land on their heads. can see that a lot of them are unwilling in their hearts to treat Dr Su in such a way but its either support Dr Su & run foul of their superiors or follow the direction their superiors want them to. for eg., the doctor who e-mailed to Dr Su secretly, he also ignore Dr Su like the rest of the doctors & nurses but secretly e-mail Dr Su to pass info to him. this doctor also find the doings of Dr Tang in the wrong but dont have the courage like Dr Su to speak out.

Jerry openly thanked Fenny for being the only one who cared during his time of isolation (going against the trend of others in Comic who were isolating Jerry), enabling him to carry on . from there, we can see how important Fenny's support was to Jerry during those difficult times by watching TH when Dr Su was being isolated.

Everybody left him but she stayed by his side,
even though he pushes her away for so many

so was i, crying, especially when i recalled the scene when Jerry thanked Fenny during the HK F4's concert, his voice was all choked up. Fenny, with her serious, grim face but who wld have thought she's such a plucky girl. that's why Jerry said he & the role of Dr Su has many similarities.

Fenny, in the beginning, was ZZ's assistant while Jerry's assistant was Ah Juan (when they were under Comic). Fenny became Jerry's assistant when he was under Fu Long while Ah Juan became ZZ's asistant. From there, Fenny followed Jerry when he left Fu Long last year.

the cute little nurse is played by Linda, she used to be a vj on mtv or something like that.

CTV’s “The Hospital” will hold a photobook signing event


As if it was a tide, CTV’s “The Hospital” brought excellent discussion talks after its broadcast. Everyone all thought that Jerry’s acting skills had improved a lot, and in line with the teleplay, it released a photobook which had been in the market for quite sometime. Today, the 26th in the afternoon, it will hold a book signing at the Breeze Center (Wei Fang Hall). Director Cai Yue Xun, Cast Leon Dai, Janine Zhang, Yang Jin Hua, etc will also grace the event. Jerry, because of prior reasons, will not attend.

Apart from “The Hospital” book signing, Director Cai Yue Xun will also produce other promotional events for the photobook and also for the bone cancer patients Xi Yuan Er, Ah Zhe and Xi Xiang Feng. .Actually, during the filming, Xi Yan Er succeeded to have“ankle and limb surgery” under Cai Yue Xun’s assistance. At present, he is now recovering pretty well.

Ah Zhe was already concerned for “The Hospital” filming at the time of his recovery. When he learned that they will hold a book signing today, he insisted to go to the event to convey his support to the drama group, and go with Cai Yue Xun who once helped him, and convey his thanks to the cast Leon Dai, Janine Zhang and Yang Jin Hua and others.

i'm depressed watching this scene..feeling so sorry for Dr Su..
i wish it was Janine that be beside him..but appreciate his

Some notes in her post:

She was the one assigned to place and arrange the contents of the complimentary The Hospital paper bags given to fans - 1 Tshirt, 2 postcards, 1 photobook. She also helped in putting up the place cards on the audience seats for the cast.

Next work was to arrange the flight of the cast down to the escalator towards the lobby in the red carpet. First batch to go has Xui Jie Kai, Second batch were Jerry , Janine and Cai Yue Xun. Jerry was very funny. When he was holding the escalator handle he said that the red carpet is all full and plays with it. She shouted (it was so loud that she felt really embarrased) at Cai Yue Sun to follow that "very handsome man." Her sister and cousin all agreed that even when Jerry is yawning, he is still very handsome.

Taiwan's first F4 member is super nice.

That Mr. Jpan had bid in all items was had always lost. Later, Tao Zi and Jerry also joked a bet that Mr. Japan will finally get the prize. Everyone all thought that Mr. Japan was the one who liked Jerry. But when he got his prize, he showed he was really nice that he bet for his wife. and everyone got so envious. and later assisted his wife to the stage to take pictures.

After the program, they were already arranging the stage and the checking the seats, when suddenly everybody was shocked because they saw a very nice obstruction sitting in her seat in front of Xu Si's. She thought how should she take him out? In addition, he was continously resting, not even moving. So they called some fans for help. Finally, it was good thing that he was reconciled with friends. He was Jerry Yan.

Next is the press con. The staff were surprized to see that Leon Dai already changed his clothes to leave. Jerry also said that he would also want change his clothes then, that everyone laughed. So Leon and his assistant decided to go change clothes again.

When we called the fans to go to Jerry, he was, however, completely very shy. With a red face, he thought of hopping back, something he also have not done before. I think when they saw Jerry stepping back to go upwards, the fans didnt really know that Jerry was very shy, and really easy to get nervous to you...

NT$90 million for F4 to promote Taiwan's tourism

F4 will unite once again, this time it is to promote tourism for Taiwan. Beginning of the year, Ministry of Communications Tourism department invited various tv stations to nominate. GTV proposed Barbie Hsu & Luo Zhi Xiang while Angie Chai appointed F4. In the end, F4 was voted & chosen to become ambassadors for Taiwan's tourism.

Ever since Jerry set up his own company, it is rumoured that F4 will not get together as a group for the time being. However, tourism board will gather the 4 of them, with a budget of NT90 million for this project. Spokesperson for Ministry of Communications stated, they had invited Zhang Hui Mei to endorse in the past to attract the South East Asia market. This time, they will work with F4, and F4 will be guest at a concert held at Zhong Shan Zu Qiu Chang.

However, there are news that for this project, besides inviting F4 to be ambassadors, the 4 of them will act in a drama series. I think huge credit should go to Jerry as i think the news of his oversea fans coming to TW for his fans meeting sessions & TH charity screening in 8/06, touring the site of TH filming sites & spending so much money, especially the Japanese fans, cld have caught the eye of Tw Tourism Board.

NT$90 million is not enough if have to use for so many things such as concert & drama expenses, artiste's fee, marketing, promotion, etc. And if the concert, dramas,marketing, promotion, etc turn out to be low-quality due to too little funds apportionate to too many things, F4's reputation will be affected.

i dont mind seeing all 4 together again but not if Jerry was not consulted beforehand or that Jerry has to sacrifice whatever other projects he has planned to accomodate this project. its all right for a concert or filming tourist site clips but not film a drama of AC. if i'm not mistaken, AC still has a few idol drama serials in the midst of filming or starting to film soon, she is already very tied up to take on this F4's projects. it may just turn out to be as chaotic & terrible during MG2 & Jerry was made the scapegoat for that.

On the 29th of this month at the KBS Hall, Seoul, Korea, the drama circle will conduct a new search in its “Seoul Drama Awards 2006” night. During this night, a lot of famous Korean stars are expected to attend, and two heavenly idol group members Taiwan’s Jerry Yan of F4 and Japan’s Kusanagi Tsuyoshi of Smap will bump heads, who will also become the center of attention in the whole venue.

Seoul Drama Awards search started this year, and because three of the biggest TV networks of Korea jointly sponsored this event to promote Korean TV serials and export them to other countries, it will hold its first screening on the 27th before the final performance night. Presently, the three big networks called on the Korean stars like actor Kim Jeong Hoon of “The Palace”, “Wonderful Life’s” Kim Jae Won, Ryu Si Won of ”The Wedding” and so on, who will be the hosts and presenters for the different awards.

The sponsors also invited two of Taiwan and Japan’s most famous people to attend. Presently, the foreign guests list is getting the most attention, especially Taiwan’s Jerry Yan and Smaps’ Chonan Kan. Smap’s Chonan Kan is frequent artist in Korea.. Not only did he studied the Korean language, he actively goes through the Korean showbiz market. He recently became a guest actor at a Korean TV serial, and now will go abroad again to Korea for the awards night. Chinan Kan will also attend the Premier Night in Korea of his lead movie “Sinking Japan”

Since Jerry went to Korea for a performance in December 2004, he hasn’t been in Korea for almost 2 years now. Jerry’s performance in his new TV drama “The Hospital” also gave rise to warm discussions for Korean F4 fans. Jerry’s management expressed that they really received the invitation from the sponsors. At the moment, they are trying hard to adjust his schedule, wishing he can represent the Taiwanese artists in this Awarding event.

seems that from Jiang Yi Peng's answer, he & Jerry dont know anything abt this tourism thing until the newspaper article. & its not only Angie Chai thats involved, Fu Long's big boss, Ge Fu Hong who owns Azio tv is also involved.

this is a matter of "face", its just like Dr Su standing up publicly against his superior Dr Tang, causing him to lose face. there's no way out for Jerry in this matter once this news is released & it specifically say F4, not F3.

i dont mind Jerry & F3 being the TW tourism ambassador, afterall, its a prestige . but no to AC's drama for Jerry. afterall, the previous years tourism ambassador, Zhang Hui Mei, didnt have to do any drama. she filmed clips promoting Tw's various tourist spots.

Jerry's fans are very against Angie Chai bcos of MG2. Mg2 was a disaster as it changed 3-4 directors while filming, the script was also changed numerous times, this 2 factors caused MG2 to be refilmed over & over again. & MG2 cld not delayed filming up to a certain point as F4's 2nd album was due for release & F4's World Tour Concert was also starting. on the day of MG2 presscon, Jerry was so sick that he was in the hospital on drips. Ac & Comic did not clarify to the press what happened during filming of MG2 that lead to Jerry falling really sick during the last months of filming. they just said he was too tired to atend the presscon. the media make a big hoohaa abt Jerry's absence from the presscon due to such a minor reason, saying he's unprofessional, big-headed, etc, etc.

Jerry decided to hold a personal presscon to explain that during MG2, the last months of filming , he fell sick as he has the most scenes to shoot, he had only 1-2 hours sleep for the past months due to rush filming of MG2 as it was delayed due to change of director & change of script & also the fact that F4 album & World Tour was coming up. that on the day of the presscon, Jerry was still filming until the early hours & went back home to change for the presscon. by then, he was so sick that his family rushed him to the hospital immediately.

after Jerry had this presscon, he went thru the "isolation" time, news were released to the media that Jerry was moody, uncooperative, hard to work with, breaking up F4, ungrateful to Ac, etc, etc. & media attention was all focused on Jerry. there was nothing much in the media abt AC mishandling of MG2, causing frequent change of directors & change of scripts. AC was still hailed as a good producer, mother of F4, etc, etc. Jiang Yi Peng who was F4's manager then & the one that arrange for Jerry's presscon, left Comic.

i only have watched the 1st parts of the episode 1... so i still have a lot to catch up with you guys... but i've read all the posts prior to this part since i joined in... and i really can say that this is a drama of total entanglement... just imagining that you'll get caught up at work and with your lovelife??? that's awful! Jerry's role is is surely very hard..
about the criticisms to janine... as for me, i can't see any reason for her to be bashed with all negativities... she is a new actress right? i'm sure it's real hard for her to see all these negativities that they are telling about her. as for me, i like her to be jerry's leading lady here. i like her beauty, she is indeed beautiful, simple, and promising. i'm sure she could pull it through with the coming episodes.
