TV host-model Georgina Wilson has excitedly announced what may well be her biggest stint yet: a guest appearance in a forthcoming episode of US hit reality show “America’s Next Top Model: All Stars.”
“SO EXCITED to announce something that I've been keeping for so long now! I will be in this season of AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL!!!! season 17!” the statuesque beauty tweeted on Nov. 9.
Georgina, who once served as one of the guest judges on “Showtime,” was a “guest/model stylist” for the model-contestants in their semi-finals challenge. The shoot, she revealed, was done in Greece.
She couldn’t be happier and more grateful over this latest feat, as she enthused, “It makes me so proud to represent the Philippines in a show that I love. I went with Bench @benchtm who was the clothing sponsor for semi finals of the current season of ANTM (the all star season).”
“all the girls had to model BENCH BODY undies for the challenge and they loved the stuff!” Georgina added.
As posted on the Bench Facebook fan page, the episode is scheduled to air in the US on Nov. 9, while the local airing will be on Nov. 14 via ETC Philippines.
“ahhhh I cant wait for it to air!!!! i loved Tyra (Banks, host and executive producer) and Ms Jay (Manuel, photo shoot director) they are AMAZING! and congratulations @benchtm for the colossal achievement!” Georgina exclaimed on Twitter.
Meanwhile, in response to a fan’s question if there were any catfights to look forward to, Georgina responded, “haha I had to get a bit b*tchy.. one girl didnt want to wear underwear. conservative chuchu daw.”
Interestingly, a netizen tweeted Georgina, “CONGRATULATIONS @iloveGEORGINA for being chosen as a guest model in the final runway show of ANTM All-Stars! Way to go!”
To which Georgina simply tweeted back, “@G_A_Cabreros hey how did you know that??
”Aside from Georgina, Dubai-based Filipino fashion designer Michael Cinco will once again grace “ANTM” with his creations, as the former also tweeted.
“my love @michael5inco is also featured in this season. super bongga he made the outfits for the finals!! we were together in Greece
” she said.Michael was first featured on “ANTM” in a cycle 16 episode aired last April. The shoot, which showcased Michael’s eco-couture creations, is among show judge and photographer Nigel Barker’s favorites, as he related in a previous interview on GMA-7’s “24 Oras.”
Creations of another Filipino designer, Oliver Tolentino, have also been featured on “Top Model All Stars,” particularly in its second episode.
