Previously, the Taiwanese media reported that singer Elva Hsiao and actor Kai Ko were spotted on a movie date last Saturday.
Yesterday, the media received a tip-off that Kai and Elva were seen together at a cinema in Taipei's Xinyi district. The witness claimed that he had seen Elva and Kai, together with a group of good friends, which included actress Cheryl Yang, watching a midnight show.
When the movie ended at around 1am, Elva and Kai headed to a night club without their friends. The pair stuck to each other at the club and was seen consuming alcohol and swaying to the music.
As the alcohol gradually took its effect, Kai was spotted hugging Elva from behind. The pair looked very much like a loving couple.
Yesterday, Kai admitted that he went for a movie with Elva and her friends, and that they had gone to a night club after the movie. However, the actor denied his relationship with Elva, saying that they "are just friends".
Elva's manager denied the rumour and rebutted angrily, "We'll not respond to baseless reports, and will not hesitate to take legal action to the person who tipped off [the media]."
Ever since Kai entered showbiz, he had been rumoured to be with female celebrities, who are older than him, including Michelle Chen and Cheryl Yang.
