Ah, I see. It's a triangle love between Kathy-Eddie-Alice, which the latter will probably end up alone. Michael and Eliza will be a couple, while there is no romantic partners for Kate. I thought TVB would want to pair Michael and Kate together, but having Kate alone is a change. It's def a promotion for Eliza.

Please... the official list shows Eliza's name in front of Alice's. If you want to prove the contrary, please provide some solid evidence.

The official list is not always a good indication of who's the lead. For example, Raymond's name was in front of Kenneth's in 3K, yet the plot revolves around Kenneth's character.

As for Eliza, I believe TVB is grooming her to become the next fadan because of her current popularity. Portraying the only female sniper is already an indication. By pairing her up with Michael, she'll get her share of screen time because there are three other actresses (Kathy, Kate and Alice).

Even though Eliza may have a larger role than Alice but Alice's role seems more of a heavier breakthrough especially since she's a villain.

I'm looking forward to seeing Kate as a sniper
then they're replace her with Eliza, I guess the female sniper is just small role not suitable for Kate
but I really love the sniper image of Kate, I'm start to dislike Eliza

Michael pairs up with Eliza? Wth! I thought Michael & Kate were going to be a couple, even though I don't think they look good together. And what is Eliza doing in here? O.o

I believe Michael is paired up with Alice and a couple other women here, Eliza is paired with Steven and possibly have relation lines with him as well while Kate is not pairing up with anyone which is fresh.

The 'Sniper Attack' "SDU" Guys Fighting for Eliza Sam

More Pictures:

Spoiler

Yesterday Eddie Cheung, Kathy Chow, Kate Tsui, Michael Tse, Eliza Sam (Heung Heung) and the rest of the cast to TVB new series Sniper Attack 2013 attended the blessing ceremony. In the series, Heung Heung plays a female member of the Special Duties Unit with a group of men. It was widely rumored that the muscular Alan Wan and Steven Cheung have been strongly pursuing her on the set.

Heung Heung admitted the group of male artists have been very attentive towards her, especially William Chak, who is under the same manager as her. She said: "The guys know my Chinese isn't good, so they have been very patient with me, allowing me to be more professional in my acting. They are all like my big brothers." When Alan mentioned Heung Heung, he laughed: "Of course she's attractive, she has good character and can be quite playful. We both grew up overseas, so have more in common and more to chat about." He expressed he and his colleagues sometimes eat with Heung Heung, but he has never had a meal with her alone. Alan even asked the media to help him set up the date. When asked if Heung Heung is someone worth pursuing? He laughed: "You have to ask Steven Cheung!" But Steven expressed he already has someone in his mind and denied that he's pursuing Heung Heung. Steven said: "I am pursuing her in the series, but the script hasn't gotten up to whether if I am successful or not." Kate also praised Heung Heung is hot and if she was a guy, she would like her too.

Eddie, Michael, Kate, Kathy's Comments on the HK Budget Plan

Many artists are commenting on Financial Secetary John Tsang's speech on the HK's government budget plans. Most artists have voiced: "It's better than nothing."

Eddie and Kate both felt the tax refund measure is better than nothing, Kate said: "Last year I had to pay 6 figures worth of taxes, if there is tax relief, that's already really good. Hong Kong's taxes not as high as other places." Eddie believed the government should focus more on servicing public welfare: "There is always talks on the huge disparities between the rich and poor, the middle class having a difficult time, the wealthy should pay more taxes and society should take better care of the lower class."

Michael expressed the budget proposal doesn't have many tax cuts and is unable to catch up to the inflation. He said: "The prices are increasing faster than income. The milk powder is really expensive, many products out there are really expensive now. Citizens are always dissatisfied with the budget, but we all must still live and accept it. We'll just have it a little more difficult. I don't have high hopes that the budget would be a breakthrough or surprises. Mr. Tsang should definitely try to take better care of the lower class."

Kathy expressed she doesn't really benefit from the budget. She heard from the news report, it doesn't seem the budget would help citizens much. She said: "The prices should be fixed first, shouldn't rise too much and let more people benefit."

'Sniper Attack 2013' Filming - An Odd House Prop Fire Occurs
Friday March 15, 2013 Hong Kong
Source: Oriental Daily
Translated by: aZnangel @ http://asianuniverse.net

Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image

Yesterday Eliza Sam, Michael Tse and Eddie Cheung were shooting at a mountain top in Tuen Mun for TVB new series Sniper Attack 2013. At the filming location, an odd fire started the night before on the house used as a prop and left a scorched earth. There was not a trace of the house left. Michael said: "I heard there were naughty kids nearby, perhaps they saw the house burning from the filming earlier and decided to just burn the whole thing down. (The crew feared calling the police would interrupt the filming progress?) Nobody was hurt and no damage of property, we wouldn't know what to report to the police. But that isn't the point, we were shooting a house burning scene earlier, the crew already soaked the whole house after the fact and fire shouldn't start up again so easily. This case is definitely an odd one."

Earlier Eddie Cheung who had an injury on his ear due to a piece of broken glass from an explosion scene, heard about the odd house fire as well. He said: "I don't know if someone is messing around, but I don't think it's a simple accident. Luckily the fire didn't spread to the surrounding trees, otherwise we would be the ones to blame? (It was said the crew didn't call the police because it would disrupt filming?) Not my business, I just follow what TVB tells me to do. When I have time, I should care for my injured ear first and go see the doctor."

Eliza said: "I didn't even know what was going on. (Have you seen someone accepting protection fees?) I'm not aware. Each time, the staff makes all the arrangements for us, we just go to the filming location. (Worried about your safety?) I hope it was just an accident. I'm just here to work, I don't think that much, that's more comforting and better for me."

Eddie Cheung & Michael Tse Wraps Up 'Sniper Standoff' Filming 16 Hours Straight
Monday March 25, 2013 Hong Kong

Translated by: aZnangel @ http://asianuniverse.net

Posted Image Posted Image

Yesterday Eddie Cheung and Michael Tse were filming the ending scene, a war game, for TVB series Sniper Standoff. Before filming, it was seen Michael had bloodshot red eyes, while Eddie had a pimple on his chin. It turns out because the two had to rush and wrap up filming, they were filming nonstop from 3 PM in the studio, then to outdoor filming and didn't stop until 7 AM the next morning. That's a total of 16 hours. Eliza Sam, Otto Chan and the other SDU members filmed the ending war game scene with them and then took a large group picture. Eddie wrote on Weibo: "Filming series is such a difficult job, but we're all able to endure through it because we have a dream. To all the brothers and sisters out there, remember as long as you have a dream, your dream can come true!" Because the interview with Eddie interrupted filming, at one point the crew rushed reporters out.

Eddie was asked if he'll stop filming series after this because it had been so exhausting? He said: "I will definitely keep on shooting series, but not necessarily in HK! (How about TVB series?) Well then, that depends on the schedule. Actually I knew filming TVB series are difficult, but I'm older now and my physical endurance is not as good as before. One time I was shooting a chain of talking scenes, also because I was too tired, I didn't even know what lines I was saying anymore." Also a magazine reported Eddie scolded TVB for being inhumane, yesterday Eddie responded over the phone and said: "I never did an interview with that magazine. If there is anything I'm dissatisfied with, I will react to TVB directly. It is unfair to TVB to say that about them."

Would of thought this would air next year but it's a good thing it's airing sooner than I expected. Are they replacing another series that was suppose to be airing? I thought all time slots were full, it's a pretty good time slot in September seems like they're promoting this series.

I guess this puts Kate back into the Best Actress race.

Personally, I'm really looking forward to seeing Alice Chan in this drama. If she does a decent job here and her character sticks with the audience, maybe she'll have a chance at a nomination too.

Idk. Alice is sharing the screen time with Kathy, Kate, and Eliza. Heck, she might barely get any because the focus is not on her. Alice is a competent actress, but she's lacking the breakthrough. If only TVB give her better roles...Posted Image

I generally did not like the ending when Kathy Chow & Eddie Cheung cannot be as a couple because she cannot remember Eddie in this series of Sniper Standoff and Eddie nephew is so funny in this drama.
