If you still have acne (moderate/severe, not 1 or 2 every other week) it's better to get rid of that first. Otherwise you'll just continue scarring.

put purifying mask on your face for 15-20mins. if the pimple is juicy, leave the mask on that pimple only and sleep and wash off the next morning.

if you think the pimple is ripe, you can squeeze it out. squeeze all the blood out till you see water comes out means its clean and you can stop squeezing it

you need a good skin care routine - pimples when you are out of your teens is usually either diet or hormone related (yes men get hormone related acne as well). Some skin types are also more prone to the pores getting clogged up as well.

don't touch your face a lot.

don't squeeze them like william suggests - that will create scars for sure

go see a dermatologist - they are the best equipped to give you proper skin advice.

do you wanna see and feel my face to see how perfect it is?

don't even bother going to the dermatogist, i bet they going to prescribe you some antibiotics, tretinoin cream, clindamycin phosphate lotion, just ask your doctor for prescription. I went to the dermatogist last summer, they only took one look at my acnes, and start prescribing me the antibiotic pills and ointments. they didn't take any tests or even ask about my skin care regimen. As for getting rid of scars, sorry to break the bad news, the only way to heal scars is TIME or you can do the laser surgery but laser is so expensive...
funny that some ppl mention that acne has something to do with your diet....cuz when i went to the derm, they never mentioned anything about diet, i also ask what cleanser brand they highly recommended and they recommended me the Cetaphil and neutralgena, i tried that cetaphil...i find it pretty gentle for my skin

Apply pack of fuller powder mixed with rose water, use it in night time this will really help you. And stop using different kind of cosmetics without any recommendation of any doctor of physician.

olive oil helps with the pimples, also with tea tree oil (but you gotta dilute it, otherwise it'll be too harsh on your face)
acne is a mystery, and it could be a number of things. Diet and hygiene does affect your acne, are u getting enough water intake? are you making sure you're not sleeping on a dirty pillow case and/or other things that could potentially clog up your pores.

I use Clearsil which seems to work for my occassional pimples here and there.. Then if I get a scar, just use some whitening cream(any brand without hydroquinone) and it works fine... Just remember to treat it right away or else it will be harder to get rid of.

This is kind of long, but I've done a lot of research and say most of this from experience
and I promise this can help you :)

I'm so sorry you are having this problem! I suffered with acne for most of my life (I'm 26 now) and still get it here and there
but not like I used to thankfully. I know how frustrating it can be. :S

The best way to get rid of acne is to eat completely healthy (raw fruits, vegis, nuts, seeds, whole grains, use natural oils in
cooking, drink distilled water, and 100% juice). Most of the time people talk about how acne is caused
but dirty skin and other problems on the surface of your body, but that is only part of it, and it's actually a very small
part of it. :/
What goes into your body holds the most sway on what your outside skin will look like. Inner body problems don't always
show themselves the same way at every part of our lives. For example a child may have the same diet as a teen/adult but it's
the teen/adult that gets the acne. Acne sometimes doesn't show up until the 20's or even later...but if you are completely healthy
you will not get acne at all. Unhealthy foods cause unhealthy build-ups in your body thus causing forms of "toxins" in your
body which cause several health problems, including acne. If you remove the inner muck you remove the outer acne.

Some foods that are usually considered healthy but really contribute to acne are, chocolate (all types), cofee, tea,
dairy products, (yogurt, milk, etc), bread (natural whole wheat should be fine though), and foods with processed salt vs
all natural salt. Even if you can't afford to go completely healthy, do the best you can! The healthier you can go
and the more junk food you can cut out the better your skin will get! I know all this from experience!!

Some other things also to try are drinking HERBAL cinnamon tea with honey (herbal tea!! It's not the same as regular teas!).
Cinnamon is a natural and powerful antibiotic that is good for cleansing the body and bloodstream. Which you need to clear up acne.
This has also been said to clear acne when you put a cinnamon honey paste on your face.

For removing the scars-a sugar citrus scrub can over time help to diminish them. It's cheap to make and goes a long way!!
Just regular whtie sugar, and some fresh citrus juice. Just make the mixture pasty, not too runny.
It keeps forever! It might feel a little abrasive, but it's ok. I use this all the time and my skin is fine.
xbudgetbeautygirlx has avideo for this on youtube:

Also, microdermabrasion would be good to try. I heard from my sister's friend that it is very effective.
Some places offer it for around 60 or 70 dollars in the USA. I'm not sure about other countries if you aren't American...
Also, chemical peels are said to be very effective from people I've talked to. Getting them done professionally can be
upwards of 200 hundred dollars, but they have small, at home use bottles online for around 30 dollars. It's legit stuff, but
you just use it a slower pace and in less amounts than at a spa.

I wish you luck!!! Take care! :)

Inb4 side effects. For every drug there'll be a bunch of haters who bash it.

^^^You're supposed to moisturize with bp and start off on low doses until your skin gets used to it.

I saw the urine thing on the acne.org forums before. Some people actually tried it but IMO it seems like broscience. Probably a placebo if anything. Stuff like diet, changing pillow cases etc really only helps if you have mild acne. If you have severe acne accutane's probably your best and only bet.

Edit: For my hater comment I was referring to accutane lol. I only recommend it as a last resort (or possibly first resort if you have severe acne since most likely everything else won't work).

^^ you must see your dermatologist before taking accutane, (as in don’t buy it from online sources) it really is a last resort for severe acne because it has a lot of dangerous side effects. It raises your cholesterol level, the milder side effects is that it causes you to have extremely dry skin, and it’ll shed and sometimes bleed if you don’t moisturize properly. You also need to wear sunscreen because isotretinoin (the active drug in accutane) causes your skin to be very sensitive to the sun. Anyways point is, go to your doctor and do some research before popping in a drug.

Sugar on the surface of your skin isn't bad for you. It's a different story when you put it
IN your body. When it's on your skin all it does is exfoliate. Your body wont absorb it like
when you eat it.

I guess sometimes acne could also cause your skin to grow old earlier than it it use to be, which need to be properly treated and take care of. Specially your eating routine, as you need to avoid eating too much oily things and use some skin care product according to your skin type after consulting a skin specialist.

There's this really good stuff I can't recall the name right now but I will search.

In all honesty the best thing for me is through my diet.
Once I went to a whole foods plant based diet my skin cleared up and began to glow.
People started coming up to me asking me what I was doing and I just changed what I was eating.

Simple.

It's called NeoStrata antibacterial facial cleanser.
I also have the face cream plus with 15 aha.
Read directions really well before use.
The face cream is strong so if your sensitive skip that part and only use the cleanser.

Lemon juice can help, sure.

But if you want faster results, a herbal cream consists of several herbal ingredients can really help. Many patients reported significant results using these kinds of creams.

There's no proof that acne and diet is correlated, in fact there have been many studies that have discredited this theory.

For OP, there is a product called Clinique called Dark Spot Corrector. It's for women but I don't see why guys cannot use it too. I use it for dark circles because I'm always working late, but it says that its for acne scars too. I never had acne so I cannot verify the effectiveness for that, but its really good for dark circles so it may be just as effective for scars. But make sure you apply moisturizer above it.

The best way to remove acnes and reduce the scars on your face is to go for facial treatment. You will see results in a month or so depending on how regular you keep your facial appointments. I regret not knowing about this much earlier as I would have less scars on my face. The beauticians will be able to tell you the reasons why you have breakout of acnes. One reason is due to oily skin that causes acnes. Most ways of dealing with acnes on suggestions above aren't effective enough. Facial treatment will balance up oil on your face and minimize your scars and please go to a good facial treatment saloon. My preferred one is facial treatment products made from France as it's very reliable. I have tried one product from US but got burned instead and breakouts of acnes occurred and my face became scarred. I shouldn't have changed my facial products otherwise my face would still be fine today. Nowadays, facial products from France and South Korea are reliable. For oily skin stay away from products that are rich and creamy. Outbreak of acnes are not really results from food. It's a matter of how to control your oily face. Stay away from products with fruit acid as well. Stay away from Clinique products.

The most efficient (probably not the best way though) to get rid of acne scars is either through laser treatments or chemical peels. If you want a more natural remedy..such as trying honey, lemon, oatmeal masks....those never seem to work (at least not for me). I used to breakout a lot too and have acne scars here and there, but this pass summer I went on a vacation out of the country and I bought minimal things with me, so no facial cleaners or w/e just my moisturizer and I noticed when I came back, I realized during those two months I didn't break out even once and my acne scars seemed to have faded dramatically. Before I went on vacation I did lemon-yogurt-honey mask everyday for 2 months straight while taking a bath. I felt it didn't do anything to my face at all...the skin didn't get any smoother or clearer just feels the same. I know there's a warning for lemon not to use everyday or else it will dry up your skin, but I guess my skin layer is just that thick (which is why I had acne problems in the first place) all that rubbing of lemon doesn't even dry it out...

I've never tried laser treatments nor chemical peels but you can give that a try if you are extremely desperate to get rid of them, otherwise acne scars will slowly fade over time on their own. Although I don't personally recommend those treatments, it might be the most effective ways to get rid of acne scars. I don't even recommend taking pills. The best way is probably to change your eating habbits; try a higher vegetable-meat % meals and cut off from less healthy foods.

We live in a polluted environment that's why the environment we live in will aggravate breakouts on our face. You need to check out that facial products you used have anti pollution protection. For facial treatments it's best to use French products as it's safer. For facial products you can use Korean products or other products with natural plants ingredients that suits your face.

I also do not recommend taking medication for acne control but I believe taking lots of water of at least 6-8 glasses a day and at least 3 portion of fruits helps a lot. Taking fruit & vegetable juices that you blend yourself works fine, I believe. Nowadays, I don't go for facial treatment for more than 6 months and it's still fine since my former oily skin on my face now becomes combination skin thus so much easier to control and hardly have acne breakout except once in a long while. When that happens, I will use Clarins Blemish Control that work wonders for me. What I do not want to see happens is to see scars on a person face due to acnes problem that spoilt a nice face just because they didn't know what works for them. I have been through those times too but my problem wasn't as bad that causes evident scars on the face. Yeah, so I hope my suggestion will help those with these problems, acnes and scars.

Oh yes, I just remembered that cactus concentrate juice helps in healing of scars on your skin. I saw for real the improvement on my ex-colleague's slightly scarred face but the cactus juice taken by my ex-colleague was very very pricy though.

I like to use cleansers that contain salicylic acid and capryloyl salicylic acid which penetrate into the pores and smooths out the skin surface. Then follow up with a gentle moisturiser. That's it. I don't like to use too many skincare products-often create more harm than good.

Extract juice of one lemon and mix with equal quantity of rose water. Apply this mixture on the face and let it stay for about half an hour. Wash the face with fresh water. About 15 days application helps cure acne, pimples and reduces blemishes and scars.

Apply fresh mint juice over the face every night for the treatment of acne, pimples, insect stings, eczema, scabies, & other skin infections. Read more

For your Acne, I'd recommend Jan Marini. You can get that from Amazon (http://www.amazon.co...ords=jan+marini). I use just Step 1 with AcneFree and it works pretty well. As for your Scars, maybe you can try getting a chemical peel. I managed to lose a few of my scars through that.
