Yuan Xiang Qin is a happy and carefree high school student. She has been in love with the Jiang Zhi Shu, a genius with an IQ of 200, ever since she saw him give a speech on the first day of school during the opening ceremony. After two years of crushing on him, she finally musters the courage to confess to him at school, but he cold heartedly rejects her, and because of this rejection, becomes the laughingstock of the entire school.

Bad things come together, because right after her rejection, the new house that she had just moved in with her father collapses because of an earthquake! She and her father are left to the streets, however luckily a high school friend of her father's comes to the rescue and invites them to live at his house. Little did XS know, the nice A Li Su is actually ZS's father! Under this coincindence, the two begin living under the same roof...

Named as Taiwan's NO.1 genius, it appears as though nothing is too hard for ZS, everything is within his grasp. However, XQ's apperance is like a tornado, making his life messy. However XQ's blind courage causes him to begin to evaluate and think about his own life and future. And XQ's love slowly begins to seep into his heart...

Oh whoa! I read the Japanese manga...didn't know there was a drama for it. Is it just me, or is Japanese manga being dramatized into Chinese series more often? Like MARS...

I've watched the Japanese version and read the manga. Sounds interesting that they actually make the Taiwanese version of it. Any further information of when it is coming out?

Seems like it's actually following the manga instead of creating its own ending like how Japanese version of Itazura na kiss was. (Seeing how the girl has a racket in her hand in which in the Japs version they don't hve that scene but there is, in the manga version).

I'm not sure how many episodes there will be actually. There hasn't been much information published about this series..i'm still waiting for the website to be completed.

I also read the manga...it was really cute! Hope they follow the manga story line more instead of the japanese one..heard that one was really good though!

OH Dear this is my favourite manga from Japanese and I totally fall in love with the Drama from Japanese Version because the actor was so cute but they get Joe Cheng for the main actor for the Taiwanese version which really disappointed me. Don't you think that Joe Cheng is too mature for the this character and he is not that good looking in my opinion. I am sorry if offended the fan of Joe Cheng.

Good choice for the main actress and she fit perfect well for the character which is young and innocent. I don't think I will watch it and I go back to watch the Japanese version.

Sorry, is this series produced by GTV ? But Devil has been airing on CTV, so how can this series replace Devil ? I mean CTV will make another drama to show instead of airing GTV series. Same as Frog Prince, TTV will air the new series of S.E.T.

to clarify some things, this series will be airing right after the last ep of devil beside you(which will only be 30 min) on sept 25 on CTV channel.

express boy is airing on sept 26 mon - fri on TVBS channel.

Me too. I really love the Jap version since the main guy is SO cuteeeeeee. Just wonder if Joe will do a good job there (not interesed in him though )

[you jiao wu lei] ( a chinese proverb which bascially means everyone's status is same in front of education ). this proverb doesnt exist for DOU NAN high school's principle. for him, education is different for every kind of person !

斗南中學中每個年級都依智力和考試成績區分成A至Ｆ六個班級，被分類到A班的學生自然是倍受呵護的天之驕子，朝會有特別座位，教學設備特別齊全，至於F班的學生，套句孔校長常說的話：「學校的電費總是要有人來贊助嘛！」。
Therefore, DN high school will hold an IQ test for students and arrange all the students from class A to F , A class students are for sure, the school's bestie and enjoy good school facilities while F class students are just put aside with their school fees to support the school's commitments.

nevertheless, Yuan Xiang Qing a dumb girl thinks that " love isnt graded ". since two years before she saw Zhi Shu giving speech on the school openinig ceremony she has fallen deeply in love with him. although she noes that students from class A and F are uncombineable in their school, optimistic her stilll bravely confess to Zhi Shu. of course, she is rudely rejected and turns to be the school's joke of the day. finally she understands the difference about *dream* and *reality*, sadly, she decides to end her two year love for him.

傷心的湘琴黯然回到家中，不料才剛搬進去沒多久的新家竟然因為兩級地震而倒塌，更因此而登上夜間新聞。
on the way back home, she has just realised that her house has been destroyed by the 2 degress earthquake and its on the news.

隔天，湘琴的同班同學阿金得知這個不幸的消息之後，夥同兩個小跟班在學校替湘琴籌款，流氓似的行逕讓湘琴覺得十分丟臉，要阿金停止，兩人正在爭執不下之際，直樹從旁經過，阿金摃上直樹，認為湘琴的不幸全都是直樹帶來的，直樹狀似施捨地掏出錢包準備捐錢，琴子氣憤難當，表示不敢相信自己居然會迷戀這麼冷血的人兩年，要他捐錢，還不如死了算了。
the second day, Xiang Qing's classmate Ah Jing is taking donations for her family. His gangster attitude towards the schoolmates makes Xiang Qing feels really humiliated and therefore stops him. When they are fighting whether to stop or not, Zhi SHu passes by and Ah Jing blames him for bringing all these back luck to Xiang Qing. ZHi Shu coldly pulled some dollars from his wallet but Xiang Qing stopped and say that she cant beleive that she had been in love with such cold blooded guy, wanting his money,she rather die.

另一頭，湘琴的父親阿才失望地望著傾倒的廢墟，背起包袱準備離開傷心地，另外去尋找暫時的居所，背後突然有個熟悉的聲音喊住他，阿才回頭一看，竟然一起長大的阿利和阿利嫂！原來他們兩個看到新聞後，特別過來看看有什麼幫得上忙的地方，在阿利夫婦的熱情邀請下，阿才半推半就地同意到他們家暫住一陣子。
on the other hand, Xiang Qing's father is looking at the destroyed house sadly and packing up the bags deciding to leave. suddenly he heard someone calling him, and it turned out to be his childhood friend Ah Li and mrs Ah Li. they saw the news and came here to help. under their invitation, his father finally agrees to stay at their house for the meantime.

放學後，湘琴拿著父親託班導師轉交的地址在陌生的街道上尋找暫住的新家，不料卻老是和直樹碰到面。直樹誤以為湘琴在跟蹤自己，始終沒給她好臉色看，湘琴一氣之下，決定跟直樹走相反方向，不料最後還是走上同一條路。原來，阿才的好友竟然就是直樹的父親！
After school, Xiang Qing was finding her way to her new house with the address his dad given her but then she keeps meet Zhi Shu. ZHi SHu thought that she was following him and got really fed up. Xiang QIng gots angry and decided to walk opposite way but end up in the same road anyway.... they had just found out that xiang qing's father is zhi shu's father friend !

I love Ariel too!!! That's why I've been waiting for this show ever since Love contract ended! I think joe cheng + ariel should be quite cute together since joe is good at being 'cool' - that fits the manga character very well.

I like ariel and mike more than rainie and mike too..they were just so cute in love contract! too bad its rumoured they aren't on good terms with each other =(

i hear they are ending the drama at the 10th volume of the manga..which is when the two main characters get married

i think its only 13 episodes because each episode is 1.5 hours long instead of 1 hour

Marriage is not the ending of the story. There're more of that in the manga.Quite a while to the end. He'll face a lot of funny trouble caused by his wife hehe. It's hilarious. If they don't follow the manga that might be short.

oh wow they're having one in taiwanese? interesting. i saw the japanese series and the comic even tho i didnt like the drawing much but the storyline was super! i just couldnt stand the style of the drawing. but the cast for this version looks pretty good.

just finished watching the first ep! i like it muchly so far!!! loved the songs already.... esp. the ending song, i think it fits the series a lot!

the guy who has a crush on ariel reminds me of this japanese star. quite cute <3

joe and ariel did a good job so far. i can't wait till their relationship develops... just can't believe there is a whole week's wait till the next episode.

OMG!!! they can't do this to me!!! i want more than the 10th volume of the manga!!! i certainly hope they change their mind and film more! heh... do you happen to know if they are still in the process of filming while screening the show like WZBQW or they have finished filming and editting the whole show already?
