SHINee's Onew confimed with Swine Flu

The curse of the swine flu seems to have struck SHINee. Having only just reported hours earlier that Jonghyun had recovered fully from swine flu, it was reported now that SHINee's leader, Onew has also been hit by it.
The announcement came at around 6pm on 7th November as it was reported that Onew had developed a gentle, mild fever last night. He was sent to the hospital today and tests have shown that he has contracted swine flu.
Onew has been prescribed Tamiflu and is now back home resting.
The other three SHINee members, Key, Minho and Taemin were also tested for precaution, and neither of them have shown any symptoms of the illness fortunately.
So despite welcoming Jonghyun back from illness, SHINee will perform as a 4-member group in Onew's absence on the 8th November episode of Inkigayo.

Super Junior's Eeteuk will replace Onew on Shinee's Ring Ding Dong stage.

On November 5th the three member band BREAKERZ led by rock singer DAIGO appeared in front of Tokyo's Shibuya 109 [department store]. They held a release event for their new single 'LOVE FIGHTER～恋のバトル～ / LOVE FIGHTER～Koi no Battle～'. 2000 fans flocked to the area. Miura Haruma is the lead actor of the drama series 'サムライ・ハイスクール / Samurai High School'. monobright provided the drama's main theme song. They will collaborate for the CD single version of the title song. The limited first editions of the monobright new single '孤独の太陽 / Kodoku no Taiyo [lit. 'Lonely Sun']' will come with a special 'monobrightMiura Haruma "Samurai High School" Kirisute-gomen! Sticker'. ['Kirisute-gomen; 切捨て御免' was an ancient samurai law that allowed the samurai class to kill someone of a lower class in self defense.] A picture of the sticker was also revealed. A million downloads for KC Concepcion song

MANILA - Singer and actress KC Concepcion has made Philippine music history with the song "Impossible", according to a representative from Sony BMG Philippines.
The song, included in Concepcion's first album "a.k.a. Cassandra", was reportedly downloaded a million times from mobile service providers like Globe, ever since the song's release around 4 months ago.
"I'd like to mention that KC has the most number of downloads ever in the Philippines. 'Imposible' already passed the 1 million mark. Nobody had ever achieved that kind of feat," Vic Valenciano, Artist and Repertoire (A&R) Director of Sony BMG Philippines, told abs-cbnNEWS.com.
Valenciano is currently in Boracay Island, Aklan for the Nescafe 3in1 SoundSkool, a yearly competition among some of the best college bands in the country.
Sony Music, one of the event sponsors, will automatically give an exclusive contract to one of the 13 finalists of this year's SoundSkool battle of the bands.
The SoundSkool Grand Finals night will be held at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium on November 14.

Nikkei: Ishinomori Work to Get Hollywood Film in 2012

The Nikkei news source reports that a work by the late manga and anime creator Shotaro Ishinomori will be adapted into a live-action and computer-graphics film in Hollywood in 2012. Ishinomori conceived of several popular classics, including Kamen Rider, Cyborg 009, Harmagedon, and The Skull Man. According to Nikkei, the film will open both in Japan and overseas.
Nikkei reports that Ishinomori Pro, the copyright holder of Ishinomori's works, drafted an agreement with a major American movie company and will sign the contract within the year. The companies aim to lock down the director, cast, and other broad details next year. If the project gets produced, it will be the first Hollywood film adaptation of Ishinomori's works.
Itochu Corporation announced an agreement for the rights to produce a live-action film in 2005, but that agreement has yet to produce a film. Michael Uslan's Comic Book Movies (CBM) company was attached to that previously announced development deal. Several of the Japanese live-action Kamen Rider television series have been adapted into English and exported, including the recent Kamen Rider Dragon Knight series (pictured at right). JY Park to return with December album

Park Jin Young, more familiarly known to our readers as JYP, is releasing an album in December. This is his first return in nearly two years as an artist.
It has been confirmed that the well-known artist will hold a tour named "Bad Party - Heartless, love doesn't exist anymore" right after releasing a new album. Back in November 2007, he had released a new album called Back to stage and toured four major cities in Korea. Just as he did with that album, JY Park is expected to hold a short but intense promotion.
When he finished up his 7th album promotion, he had promised that he would not come back until a Korean name got on the Billboard chart. With the Wonder Girls' recent achievement, he has fulfilled that promise and is now able to return to Korea for a new album. It is not decided yet whether it will be a full album or a mini album, but details will be released in early December.
