Last month Universal Music released Leslie Cheung's 'The Most Popular'. The compilation CD went four times platinum, selling over 120,000 copies in ten days. Hoping to follow in this pattern, Universal is releasing《王菲正傳》('Faye Wong Story'). Although she's had many compilation CDs in the past, the biggest selling point for this new compilation is the DVD included in the package. The DVD will contain footage from ten of her performances with TVB and other television stations.
While rumours of her comeback have been floating around, it seems that Asia's Music Queen has yet to make her return to the studios. Aside from filming advertisements, she has only been participating in Buddhist activities and charity functions.
The new compilation is a 3CD + DVD set. The 3 CDs will include 48 classic songs and specially remixed versions. As for the DVD, the footage is from of Faye's appearances at television stations as well as music award shows. Some of the clips show ..... (article cut to save bandwidth)

Faye Wong's supposed shampoo endorsement poster was uploaded on the Internet last Wednesday by a Chinese netizen who claimed to be an employee at the cosmetic company. Being amateurishly done, the poster is suspected to be unauthentic.
According to previous reports from China, the current shampoo endorsement will mark Wong's comeback to showbiz. Last month, she flew to Thailand in the company of her manager to shoot the advertisement. Famous stylists such as William Chang were engaged to create her new look.
Wong's manager said, "You will be able to see the advertisement very soon and you will not be disappointed with the new image. Please wait patiently." Despite that promise, a poster was "prematurely" exposed on the Internet on May 6, raising vigorous discussions online.
Several minute details of the poster then became the focus of online discussions. Wong's long hair seen on the poster is an obvious doubtful point since her hair is currently at just shoulder length.
Moreover, Wong has always had high and stringent expectations of her work; it is impossible for a ..... (article cut to save bandwidth)
