Mainland artist Jade Liu Li Yang has travelled to Taiwan to promote her EP [Forward] and held a mini concert the other night. Known for her tomboy-like appearance, Jade took advantage of the opportunity to sneak a kiss on guest Yoga Lin's cheek under the pretty lights and superb atmosphere, which surprised both of them.
Jade invited colleague Yoga Lin to share the stage at her mini concert. The queer yoga addressed himself as a "male chestnut" (Jade's fans call themselves "chestnuts") and also gave Taiwan's fried sugar chestnuts to his fellow Chinese friends so they can have a taste of the warmth that comes from these Taiwanese chestnuts. The two sang [Ti Amo] together romantically and Jade who was originally standing tall and straight even acted femininely by leaning against Yoga's shoulder.
When fans saw the scene they already began to laugh and shout. Jade then unexpectedly kissed Yoga on the cheek causing the audience to scream loudly and Yoga ..... (article cut to save bandwidth)

Yoga Lin tries out strange foods, sweats when eating raw pork

Yoga Lin sang [See What, Eat What/Kan She Me Chi She Me]. On the 22nd, Hit FM radio station gave him Crispy Fried Honey Bees, Raw Marinated Pork and an Entire Snake Meal to eat for a challenge. In the end, Yoga failed when eating the raw pork. Once he took a bit, he began to sweat a bit. To balance the after-effects, he crazily took mouthfuls of white rice and drank gulps of water. Once, he ate twelve live oysters. But his body did not react much to that incident. He said: It still doesnt match up to the effects of exercising! Yoga, who is 171 cm, grew taller to a height of 180 cm when he practiced an ice-skating dance for his new album. Yesterday when showing off a little part of the dance, Yoga yelled: Thank you God for giving me the height of a model!

Yoga Lin's first good in singing and then followed by acting. Besides having his own unique ideas when it comes to music, this time round, Yoga will be stepping into the movie industry. "Angel on a Pinhead", a short movie clip, will be his debut performance on the big screen and he'll be the male lead.
For Yoga's previous album "Mystery", HIM invited director Yi Zhi Yan from "Blue Gate Crossing" to use his movie style of filming to direct the "Bo Le" MV. During that period, director Yi Zhi Yan already praised Yoga for having talent in acting. This time round, Yoga will be working with well-known up and rising director Wu Mi Sen who filmed "Fluffy Rhapsody" and "Amour-LEGENDE". Yoga has never acted in any drama before and thus, this chance of filming a movie is a great surprise to him.
During his first trial attempt, he couldn't correctly gauge the expression and might he should exert and the director ..... (article cut to save bandwidth)

Yahoo! News
Yoga Lin, the winner of the first season of Taiwanese variety programme, One Million Star, plans to present a new Para Para-esque dance style for his upcoming second album. The Taiwanese singer hopes that his new dance moves will be as popular and trendy as 'Sorry Sorry', the hit song by Korean boy band Super Junior.
After a successful first album release, Yoga's upcoming album, Senses Around, is highly anticipated amongst listeners and is due for a release on October 30. The title track for his second album, 'Kan Jian Shen Me Chi Shen Me' will feature a Boogie-Woogie dance track and Yoga himself will be engaged in a lively retro dance.
To produce his title track's music video, Yoga's recording company spent a total of S$100,000. They portrayed Yoga as a psychedelic person who becomes a man-eating monster. Yoga will also don roller skates and dance in his cold eccentric kitchen or dining room.
Inspired by Super Junior's Sorry Sorry, the 22-year-old singer laughed and shared his hopes for this Para Para dance to become the next-big-thing

Taiwan singer won't try to pull stunts just to please fans. For him, it's music that counts
By Charlene Chua / The New Paper
LOVE him or loathe him, Yoga Lin is certainly no run-of-the-mill celebrity.
The 21-year-old Taiwanese singer, who staged his Trick Concert here at the Singapore Indoor Stadium two weeks ago, is known for being subdued and for his frank remarks.
He is the winner of the first season of Taiwanese talent show One Million Star and has won fans from all over Asia with his debut album, Mystery, which was released last June.
He was a guest on Singapore talent show Campus Superstar last month and startled the audience when he refused to 'judge' the contestants.
He was asked to choose who he thought would most likely be eliminated.
But when the lightbox in front of him lit up - the photo of the contestant he picked would have appeared in the box - the screen was empty.
The hosts of the show, Felicia Chin, Pornsak and Lee Teng, who were momentarily ..... (article cut to save bandwidth)

S.H.E and Yoga Lin will be collaborating for the first time when they guest perform in the Singapore stop of his concert tour. During rehearsal, Selina held her dog Pinky in her arms but Ella turned around and gave a bear hug to Yoga Lin which had him happily exclaiming: [I so regret wearing a thick coat today.]
This will be the sixth stop and the last stop for Yoga Lin’s concert tour. It will take place in Singapore on February 20th and the guest performers will be his heavy-weight seniors S.H.E. This is also their first stage collaboration since becoming artists for the same company. Originally Yoga Lin had happily wanting to utilize this ‘benefit’ to the max and planned to sing a duet with each of his three seniors, however, in the end, the idea was rejected by the company because “it took too much time’.
It was finally decided that ..... (article cut to save bandwidth)

Yoga Lin Brings "Trick Concert" To Singapore
By Liaw Lee Sun, channelnewsasia.com
SINGAPORE : He's only 21 years old, and turned pro only last year with the release of his debut album "Mystery". Yet Taiwanese newcomer Yoga Lin is pulling off sell-out concerts in Taiwan and Hong Kong, and still winning fans and critics with his strong stage presence. Singapore will get a taste of this when Lin brings his gig to the Indoor Stadium on Friday 20 February.
Lin made his entrance to stardom by winning the "One Million Star (Season 1)" competition, a popular reality TV singing contest in Taiwan. He was dubbed the "Magician of Music", when he impressed the judges with his distinctively dreamy vocals and the ability to infuse his own vibes into songs.
While the Singapore concert is expected to be a lavish affair, complete with elaborate costumes and spectacular stage and lighting effects, a major draw will be the highly-anticipated collaboration with popular Taiwanese female trio S.H.E., who are confirmed guests at the concert.
This will be the first time both parties are performing onstage together and ..... (article cut to save bandwidth)

Yoga Lin omitted Cantonese songs on Hong Kong concert

Yoga Lin omitted Cantonese songs on Hong Kong concert
Yahoo News
Taiwanese singer Yoga Lin held his first concert in Hong Kong last weekend where he performed several Mandarin classics of popular Hong Kong singers. Though it was expected that he would perform Cantonese songs for the Hong Kong market, where people predominantly speak Cantonese, Lin dropped the entire segment.
Lin performed several Canto hits on his Taiwan concert in mid 2008. It was with regrets that he had dropped the segment on the Hong Kong concert. Lin said he was unsatisfied with his Cantonese pronunciation; in respect for the songs and their singers, he decided to drop them eventually.
For a first time on the Hong Kong stage, Lin took his performance with much ease. Besides songs from his debut album "Mystery", Lin also sang classic hits of Hong Kong pop kings Leslie Cheung and Aaron Kwok.
Lin, who is usually casually dressed, put in much effort in costumes selection this time round. He made his first appearance in a clumsy clown suit, and then changed into the bright red suit to welcome the Lunar New Year.
